A Florence man died Tuesday from injuries he received in a single-vehicle crash a day earlier. Senior Trooper Brandon Bailey of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said the incident happened at 8 p.m. Monday on Lauderdale County 8 near Lauderdale County 15, about seven miles north of Florence. Michael S. Enlow, 59, was injured when the bicycle he was operating was struck in the rear by a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by Nicholas R. Hinton, 30, also of Florence. Enlow was transported to the North Alabama Medical Center for treatment, where he died today.
