Florence police say a woman died after she was struck by a vehicle Tuesday. Sgt. Ryan Kelly said the incident happened at about 10:40 p.m. at Veterans Drive and South Oneal Street. Wendy Price, 56, of Florence, was struck by a vehicle driven by a 44-year-old man, whose name was not released, who Kelly said was uninjured. Price was treated at the scene and transported to North Alabama Medical Center, where she died from her injuries. Police are investigating.
